1. Information We Collect

FloodLine collects information you provide when reporting flooding, blocked drains, road damage, and related infrastructure issues. This may include your report description, SMS messages, phone number, uploaded photos, address details, location data, GPS coordinates, map pin locations, and status lookup information.

2. Photos, Media, and Location Data

Photos and media you submit may contain visible property, vehicles, people, metadata, or other contextual details. Location data may be collected from addresses you enter, GPS/geolocation permission you grant, map selections, reverse geocoding, or SMS report conversations. We use this information to identify the reported issue and route it to the appropriate response team.

3. How We Use Information

We use report information to create and update work orders, assess severity, route issues to municipal staff or infrastructure-response partners, send status updates, detect duplicate or incomplete reports, improve service operations, and maintain the security and reliability of FloodLine.

4. SMS Communications

If you opt in to receive SMS updates from FloodLine — either by checking the "Send me text updates about this report" box on the web form or by texting FloodLine directly — we may use SMS to send report status updates, request missing information, confirm submission details, and notify you when your report is resolved. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and is not guaranteed.

Your mobile phone number will not be shared with third parties. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance.

5. Sharing Information

We may share report details with authorized municipal staff, departments, contractors, service providers, hosting providers, communications vendors, mapping/geocoding providers, and infrastructure-response partners when needed to operate FloodLine, investigate reports, or resolve issues.

6. Retention and Security

We retain report information for as long as reasonably needed for operations, accountability, analytics, legal compliance, and service improvement. We use practical administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can be made completely secure.

7. Your Choices

You can choose not to submit a report or not to provide optional details. Some information, such as a location or description, may be required for staff to evaluate and respond to a report. To ask questions about this policy or your data, contact FloodLine support at support@catalystdigitaltech.com.
